Acrylic Patio Covers Direct is a brand of American Patio Covers Plus, Inc. (part of MBC Patio Holdings), located at 5916 195th St NE, Arlington, WA 98223. This policy explains what information we collect when you use acrylicpatiocovers.com and design.acrylicpatiocovers.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors in the United States and Canada. We do not sell your personal information.

Information you give us

When you request an estimate, use the kit designer, contact us, or place an order, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address or ZIP/postal code, the design you build (style, size, colors, mounting details), any photos or sketches you upload, and any notes you type. If you order, we also collect billing details; card payments are processed by our payment provider and full card numbers are never stored on our systems.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the Site uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how it is used and to measure advertising. Currently these are: Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google LLC); website analytics provided by our hosting company, GoDaddy; analytics from WPMU DEV, a WordPress service we use; and HubSpot, which powers our contact forms and customer relationship management. These tools record things like the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. The kit designer also stores your contact details in your own browser so you don't have to re-enter them, and records each pricing session so we can follow up on your design.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on or of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the Site or the designer, though the designer will ask for your contact information again on each visit.

How we use your information

We use the information above to price and quote your patio cover kit, prepare cut sheets and manufacture your order, arrange delivery or pickup, answer your questions, and follow up on estimates and designs you have started. We also use it to operate and improve the Site, measure our advertising, and meet legal, tax, and warranty obligations. If you contact us about a design or request an estimate, we will follow up by phone or email about your project.

Email, phone and text follow-up

We send marketing email (tips, offers, news) only to people who have asked for it by checking the opt-in box on one of our forms or by becoming a customer, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. Canadian residents: we rely on your express consent, or on implied consent for a limited period after you inquire or buy, as permitted by CASL; you may withdraw consent at any time.

We send text messages only to follow up on a design, estimate or order you have asked us about, and only to the number you gave us for that purpose. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in information will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; we share them only with the service providers that deliver our messages.

We keep a record of when and where you gave or withdrew consent so that we can honor your choices.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who need it to do work for us: Google (analytics and advertising), GoDaddy (website hosting), HubSpot (forms and customer records), Netlify (hosting for the kit designer), Microsoft 365 (email), Supabase (order records), our payment processor, and freight carriers or our own delivery crews for shipping. Each is bound to use your information only to provide its service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, and to a successor if our business is sold or merged. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message. Residents of Canada have the right under PIPEDA to access and correct their personal information and to withdraw consent, and residents of U.S. states with consumer privacy laws may have similar rights. Retention and security

We keep estimate and design information for as long as needed to follow up and for a reasonable period afterward, and order records for as long as required for warranty, tax, and accounting purposes. Uploaded photos and sketches attached to quote requests are kept with the quote. We protect information with industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to staff who need it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and material changes will be noted on this page.
